    let me know

    v.c. electrolisys worked only as far as softening the studs hehe
    not actually to remove them
    so I drilled them out
    and that worked fine

    talk to Sir roger of
    Jackson, South Carolina, United States awhile ago he's asking me to send the photo's of the parts that i need, but he assured that the starter and reduction gear and bearing is still there. but the way since i'am new in ebay is the seller ok in his previous transactions.

    I also found 2 ax-1's in perfect shape here in manila both of them are for sale about 2,000 in u.s. dollars.
    Thanks Guys

    If that isn't the correct parts Mobs, just let me know..
    I'll try for you again.:D

    Also, I know for a fact that the picture there with the starter has been listed on Ebay for at least three years, and the motorcycle is 20 years old to start with.

    But, I have spoken with the seller in the past, and he guarantees the parts, and Ebay and Paypal both have their own protection for buyers...plus ...the always faithful 'shipping insurance.':lol3
    Do not take this as a recommendation or a reference. but if you deal with him, get him to confirm this guarantee IN WRITING... like in an email message that you save.

    Just like you, I would be very wary. There will surely soon be a much better deal on Ebay. from a bike that hasn't been rusting outside...even if you bought his parts, some of the roller bearings you would still have to order,:deal while in the next day or two, a well preserved item will come up for sale on Ebay. One that is totally cheaper, and totally guaranteed.

    The parts are pretty common, i will be more sure by Tues (two days) what other Honda's to source these parts from.

    That's pretty sweet, Mobs....

    Sounds like you have it figured out by yourself...
    You have a loose + battery connection...

    The terminals of the battery have a 'backing nut' on them...
    you must tighten the screw down into a little nut that is slipped into the underside of the battery lead terminal...

    If the wire tap end vibrated loose, and this 'nut' was lost, you just need to get another nut into the battery terminal, and re-tighten the screw into it...

    let us know...

    I installed this arc (2 weeks ago) that is normally standard on the NX250.
    It wasn't on my bike so I had to get it from a scrapyard.

    The difference is very noticable. The front-end feels more stiff and the steering reaction has really improved.

    So if you dont have this on your NX. Get one or make your own it really improves the handling of the bike.
