The lone duck awaits another adventure rider...
Doc, you've ridden this spot before. I took you and Jeff there after leading you through Montville and Greenpond.
I did recognize the tree (hee, hee!), but didn't know how to bushwack to the spot. And my hand is still healing....
You doing both days of the Hammer, or just one?
Here's the original for easy reference...
Someone's effing with the game again.
No one's effing the game, just bad timing. I was just told by a friend he found it. I'm sure he'll post soon.
Good. We've had more than one duck "disappear". The fact that he replaced the log covering the Duck looked suspicious.
I got the duck!
I'm bringing Ducgonzo to his next temporary home tomorrow morning and will post soon!
Here is the duck! It is in the last tree on the right before the woods open up to a big clearing. Follow the trail and keep right. It is a little swampy so be careful, but it was pretty dry when I went.
Entering from Barnida Drive, it's too illegal for me. Clearly posted as Wildlife Refuge and State property with no motorized vehicles allowed.
Throttledan, we have tried to keep the game as legal as possible over the years. We don't usually go past "private property", "no trespassing" and park signs. So, is it possible for you to get the duck and re-place it in a more "legal" location? Thanks....
I might have time to get it on my bicycle.
Shit, sorry about that. I grew up riding there and my folks live on that street. I didn't notice that it was now a protected area you can't ride in. I'll be there on Sunday, I'm changing out the rear tire. If it is not gone by then I'll move it. I'll see if the woods off the end of Klinger Rd. in East Hanover has the same designation, if it does, I know an area off Troy Road that has an easy dirt path I can put it.
No worries, you can leave it. As long as you understand the rules, you can break them more effectively.
At least that's what I read somewhere on this forum
Classic ad hominem un-called for attack. Please check my new signature! Thanks!
No attack-- just stating what someone wrote in another thread. Or did I not read that?
Where this thing at now.
Well, doesn't look like Dan had a chance to either answer my conversation or replace the tag....
So, Docgonzo to the rescue!
Can sell you a nice bike cheap!
And Dan, we try and stay away from posted areas:
The duck will be going to the PB500 this weekend. The tag will be on one of the hundreds of miles of legal dirt roads in Southern NJ!
I was going to grab it if I could make the time. Good job.
