Everyone rides motorcycles for different reasons. Many of us like, in addition to the free feel of moving through space and time with rhythm and speed, also like the leaning in and linking of turns. How do you have that feeling with this:

Would seem that a car would make more sense, if you want to bring your whole "family" and supplies with you….

iPhone case section back of store at counter.
I've been researchig mounts for a while.
I noticed BH had it and that I could have it installed on my bike and enjoy it right away - so ...impulse buy it was.

Not bad. I had a whole Sony 5.1 system on the back of the VFR last year.

Where was this? I have seen bikes (scooters, even more so) filter, change lanes etc (like so many cars and cabs) and have never seen anyone get pulled up for that!

Also on a side note, I don't think there is anything pretentious or "jaded" about not liking touristy places- I doubt anybody likes fighting hordes of tourists or regular people on a daily basis. Trying to call names to a legitimate personal preference is more pretentious trying to vindicate your position. Tourists should do their toursity stuff and most locals don't like doing it- its the reality so just relax.

Also, to do something different, you can ride bicycles next to the west side highway- what a great fun ride and interesting way to see the city from the "outside"

I was on Hamilton Ave heading towards the Battery Tunnel and the cop walked out with her hands in the air at Court St. A guy I know got pulled over for the same thing at the same place by the same cop!

Wow, really? I take the Manhattan bridge route as I work downtown going from south of the park. But I do often pass that area going from TJs towards south of Brooklyn- never knew cops could be this tough in NYC!
All the cops in the morning, if there is a jam ahead or the lights turned red, have let me pass even if they dont let a car go. They seem quite overwhelmed by the rush hour traffic so I really did not think that they would have the time to stop anyone to ticket them!

    I'll keep this brief:

Many of you know I sell some pretty high powered LED lights.

I have new kits in stock with full harnesses and switches, and would like to extend a local discount to NYC inmate here. Please PM me if you'd like a set, and we can either meet up at the Ear or elsewhere to exchange.

That's all! Ride safe, and be seen!

    Um. No. Ha!
I got a new helmet so I'm selling the old one.
My summer jacket is a bit big on me so I want something better fitting.
I ended up getting a gerbing all in one jacket so now I can sell my Gerbing liner.
As for my bike - I'd eventually like to get an F800GS or similar.
    :)
