I'm going to be locking my bike up in Harlem in the near future. Looking to buy a disc lock and chain if anyone has something laying around. Not looking forward to all the hassle but I know I need to take the precautions.

    thanks.

Thanks Rob. Bought it cheap put a few bucks into it and got 7,000 miles of fun. Not looking to make a killing or profit just a decent price for a decent bike. Bike also comes with a magnetic tank bag

    Hey Chris,

I don't have a lock for sale but would love to sit down with you and chat about your tours.

Let me know if you have some time,

Anybody drive down Park and Cumberland in Brooklyn? There is a parking lot next to a deli, I just want someone to confirm there is a white Rover in the lot. If there is I'll take a ride over ....

    Thanks.

Great!!! Thanks Rich. I just want to make sure the truck exists and it's not a scam. It's a white Discovery I, can't miss it. I would take a ride after work but I don't want to get stuck in traffic since I have to be home early today.

    Thanks a lot!!

Barcelona is very MC/Scooter friendly. They even park around City Hall on the sidewalk and nobody makes a fuss. Splitting is very common and people aren't uptight about it.

NYC is just a mess of special interests, NIMBY, corruption, and flat-out mental problems. You have to fight to carve out whatever you can get, and then fight to keep it. Someone is always waiting close by to take whatever you got, for themselves.

Do I sound hopeless about it?

Anyway, it's a hard fight to make any progress. Next Wednesday (May 15) there is a Community Board meeting you should all attend to discuss replacing the moto parking which was lost at Dyer ave. The more people who show up to this (or any) meeting, the better chance it will have an effect.

Stick it on the inside of your windscreen, just like a car would. :deal

I've tried all those other things, and they don't work. I used to have EZP failures half the time. Since sucking it up and sticking it where it belongs, I rarely ever have a problem.
