They'll be a group ride tomorrow at Croom? I was planning on blindly heading out on my own and see what gives. I've never been out to any of those areas and I figured it's time. I've the DRjr in some sort of working order and I committed myself to learning how to ride while standing on the pegs. :D

If you show up between 8 - 8:30 there will be plenty of people to ride with, people usually group up based on skill/speed. Pines is the first parking area after the pavement ends. I will shoot you a PM with my number.

LOL, I probably should have said it in both. How did the DR handle the whoops?

Just sold her....watching her drive off on the back of a sketchy jeep. New owner seem happy to ride it.
Now to get a 2t, never started smoking might as well start.

Yeah hoping to find a bike in 2 weeks or so. Want to do the first hare scramble at Daytona, crashed hard about a year ago there. Need to get my re-up on the track.

Any tips and such on looking for a bike would be appreciated. Been looking at some ktm for street use but open to bikes. Had my eye on one but sold out already.

So update found a friend of a friend with 07 450 ktm xcw for a killer price and a ton of extras.

Will get pictures soon. Question, has the stock pipe does it count as a spark arrestor for ftr?

Picture, the brass fitting is leaking out of carb. What is it and will a rebuild kit fix it. Also one fork has small leak, any places I should look into for fixing.
    Thanks

Stock pipe probably has a spark arrestor. It will be stamped on it if so. Carb rebuild won't fix leaking brass plug. Forks need rebuilding so the shock does, too.

It's a 10 year old dirt bike that will no doubt need a lot of work ($$$) to bring it up to snuff. You don't know what, if any, maintainance has been done. It's a killer price for a reason.

That is the best year rfs motor and the xcw has the best suspension. High and low speed adjustments . Call Jason at Becks tech. 386-256-4746. He does my fork and shock work. A great guy that knows what he's doing and reasonable too. JD jetting are the carb experts but Jasin can take care of that too. I would have him check the whole bike out. Buy the bike ! I have an 07 450 exc i bought new and know a good bit about it too if you have any questions. Ktm world is always happy to give advice over the phone. I get all my parts from them. I'm not sure about the brass on the carb. My exc came street legal with a bunch of anti pollution stuff on my carb which I took off. A micro fiche should tell you.

I have a 2013 YZ250 setup for woods racing I may be parting with. Essentially an "X" model without the wide-ratio gearbox. 18 inch rear, rekluse, couple seats and pairs of plastics, spark arrestor, hand guards, etc...Let me know.

Guess i could give more back ground. Feel it might fill in few blanks.

I bought the bike from my bosses friend who happen to be a friend of someone I mow grass for. So i am the 3rd owner I know Both of them. The bike it self has suspension work done, was race by the 1st owner and the 2nd owner just used it as a weekend warrior also he is a older fella.
The bike is tagged, also has a bunch of goodies on the bike.
trail tec., New chain and sprockets not mounted yet, new hydro for the clutch, new clutch plates, 2 sets of plastic, proper bark busters the type that span the hole bar, brand new tire, tubeless tire system. Bunch of other stuff on the bike i am not well rounded in yet new to ktm.
Also threw in a few riding items one is a brand new pair of Oakley goggles.

Going to have the forks set out when i get the chance. Would like to have it set up for my weight and riding. Planning to rebuild the carb my self no worries on that, done it a few times. Just need to find the parts and such to order them. Feel like i am looking on the wrong site, haven't found much.

+1 for Becks Tech, he's been my go to KTM suspension guy. Also helped punch out my little TW with an oversized piston. Great guy to take on my silly project that nobody was willing to mess with.
