The height and angle are also very decieving from the picture, those "ramps" have about a 1:1 rise/run, and if I remember correctly they are about 3.5 feet high, I also thought about it a couple of years ago but to be safe you would have to get a little air time, I also think I remember that they had pieces of bar stock welded across the tops to discourage would be "Evels". But it is still really cool.
Yeah, to actually do it would take more skill than I have and a more nimble bike than a Vmax. I believe there was some kind of physical block. And even though I would have been hard put to damage that monstrosity it just wouldn't have been right. :)
There was a picture of an entire marching band standing in the bucket at the information kiosk and you could walk around in it.
