I work across the street so could probably swing that.
We could probably make this one
Penciled in to my calendar.
Jupiter pizza sooo good! Woodschick diner is on me!
I'll be there - looking forward to an Io pizza.
And just so everyone is aware, Jupiter is across the street from downtown Berkeley BART, in case you want to get there or go home via public transit.
Happy new year everyone.
We are going to be in Mexico on the 15th...I'll toast one margarita for you guys
I work at LBNL now, do they have plenty of moto parking?
Wanted to compare my Dusy Ershim notes with Woodschick. I still think that South to North is the way to go.
There is free moto parking on Oxford right after KITTREDGE. Also free parking on KITTREDGE.
EDIT: Not Kinsey (still think I'm in Chicago) It's Kittredge and Oxford.
I think I'll be there.
Ha-hah! I remember that! 4 KTM's, right? Well, did I steer you wrong or was I close to the mark?
Looking forward to seeing everyone!
I hope to make it - - sounds fun!
I will try and make this :) Looks like you guys go to some great places to drink and what ever
Today an "iffy" looking man on a rusty old bike decided to shoot across an intersection ignoring his red light. The light was green for me and I was traveling about 36 MPH when he jaunted across. I hit the front brake, swerved to the right to avoid him but it was too late. He is going to be OK - He was in the wrong - He took a ride to the hospital in the ambulance. I hit him pretty much square then laid the bike down and slid about 25 feet on the pavement.
I am OK. I only have bruised ribs and a sore shoulder thanks to all my gear. The 990 on the other hand isn't doing so well.
The impact of the collison did some pretty good damage to both fairings, headlight and then the subsequent skidding ground down the crash bars pretty well.
I am glad I am very sore but OK and I am glad there were 3 witnesses that stopped to help out and support my claim of innocence.

I truly hope to get the KTM repaired without totaling it out...
If anyone has recommendations on how to deal with the Insurance company, process, etc. Please PM me. I have full coverage, and I appears this will be his fault based on witnesses and their testimony.
Chris-good to hear you are OK as was the other party. Your insurance will likely make a recorded interview of you giving your side. So prepare. Then their legal will take over and advise you from there. That's when you will have more questions for us or a legal pro. Meanwhile, have a beer, relax.
You DO NOT have to consent to a recorded interview. It is OKAY to go straight to a lawyer... and fight for everything that you're due.
Glad to hear you are ok. What time did you hit this fucknut? I wonder if I checked him in yesterday at Highland. I wonder if he came here or Alameda?
My buddy was working Alameda Fire yesterday. I wonder if you saw him?
I am going to be in Pleasant Hill this afternoon and was thinking about dropping in on the way home. I'll be driving a car so any advice on parking in the area. Google Street Views makes it look like there's no parking at all on that block of Shattuck.
Damn! Finally one when I'm not working a night shift! Still can't make it, gotta watch the kids while the Lady is out at her StitchNBitch. She's not going to get much stitchin' done!
There is parking on Oxford. You can also park in a pay lot on Center, but that can fill up some nights.
