Sorry I missed it - will catch the next one!
Just found this thread. I'll try to catch you guys next time!
Hey Steve- did you get to B.C. (and alaska? can't remember if you were going that far). I just got back from there. My LC4 is still up in washington for another couple weeks, but it's survived 6,000 miles in the last month (so far).
See everyone at the next one of these.
No the trip got truncated to an Oregon adventure for several reasons - but I'm glad it did. Eastern Oregon was some of the best riding I've ever done. Even got the V-Strom dirty a bunch. How was your B.C. adventure?
Alaska is next summer.
I'm selling my Bandit 1200 and probably going to put some of that money into tweaking the LC4. I'm trying to buy a set of supermoto wheels so that can become my day trip / canyon crashing bike [over the pig V-Strom]. I need to get the vibration under control though - I've very curious to try yours out with that lighter piston. Whenever it makes its way back here, I'd love to get together for a ride.
See you soon for more pizza & beer, perhaps.
I don't think anybody is watching this thread
You're a day late for the deal of the century man. sold the b-last
No way! I never even got to see it. Got any pics?
That sounds like a great trip. My trip was a good one- we ended up doing less dirt and covering more miles than expected, because it rained a lot, and the dirt roads we rode were pure mud. I'm working on editing down photos so I can put a few up.
We should definitely go for a ride when I get my LC4 back. Would be a great bike to have a supermoto setup for.
So would anyone else be up for a meet and eat at The Warehouse, in Port Costa? It's a bit of a ride for us folks in the berkeley/oakland area, but that's not such a bad thing. . . . and the place has character, for sure. Maybe sometime next week.
Pretty much any evening works, and there are some fun roads to get out there.
The Warehouse is great. I'm in for that.
There's a Destination Highways route all the way from Oakland.
Yep, maybe us berkeley/oaklandites can meet at "the wall" (quotes added, since it's no longer a wall) for a ride out there.
Wednesday the 10th at the Warehouse, about 7:00? that work for people?
Sounds good, I'm gonna try to make it.
Thursday would be better by me, but I can try to make Wednesday work.
see you all
Cool. I'll bring my new Harmonizer from Grok, for everybody to see and try.
What time at the Wall? 5:30 to bullshit a bit then ride out?
Sounds great. I'd like to see that harmonizer, sounds like a great tool.
