Imagine my delight when I realized I would be the grinder :clap
Of course I thought of The Big Guy™ right away, and I hope to make him proud of me someday :D

Maybe is missed it in one of the earlier posts but I didn't see a time for this Wednesday ?

I see 5:30 at 'The Wall' for a ride out which I'm guessing puts folks in Port Costa about 6/6:30.

Let me know pls if I'm in the right time frame..

    Thanks... Jonathan

When I lived in Maryland, I dated a gal that raced J32s on the Chesapeake. Whenever the skipper was expecting a big wind day, I'd get invited to grind. About half the time, the big wind never materialized, and I'd be bored out of my mind, getting sunburned, with no view of the water in the winch pit.

    What boats are you racing?

It's a Ranger 33. No winch pits on this boat, I get to see everything!
And sometimes, if I behave myself, I get to bring it in...

:lol3 I'll tell you, my love for the water is bested only by my love for all things motorcycle. My two very favorite things in life. I really don't know jack about sailing but I'm learning and I'm having a blast at it. I only wish Eric wouldn't turn green at the mere mention of the word "boat." :puke1

Zina (RacerWife) would be happy to introduce you to swimming in the Bay. I think she likes that better than motorcycles.

I used to swim in the Bay several times per week. I'd go from Robert Crown to Bay Farm Island and back. Bursitis and no ear drum put an end to my cold-water swimming :(:

The Warehouse in Port Costa. 6:00-6:30ish start time. A handful of folks are riding from the Wall (in Berkeley?) as a group, including a SuperSport Goldwing (TM).

    See you there.

I see, I work right below the wall, see you there around 5:30? It's usually not much fun during these hours, lots of commute traffic, cops etc.

Yeah, I'm thinking I'll just be at the Warehouse about 6 PM. We'll get some fun in on the way over, delta and all that.
