    Hey Folks!
I'm looking for a live/work space for myself, a couple bikes and my pup, in the Oakland/Alameda/Berkeley area. Around the end of summer. If you know of any or have any ideas, please PM me!

    Thanks!
    HiJack over!

Steve, heal up well and soon dude! Sorry to hear of your tumble and hope that won't hurt your business too badly while you're on the mend. In any case, if you still want to host the next M&E for the motley crew, then count me in (along with Chris) as an early arrival to help with whatever.

Well that is a big suck.

I did the same thing road racing (except assisted by a thoughtful Ducati, which ran over me).

I had to have a plate and screws put in -- apparently, the collar bone acts like a fulcrum for one particular muscle, and when the bone is fully separated like that, you have to have surgery to get the muscle back on the correct side of the bone, and to affix the bone.

    Don't worry, you'll be fine.

Let's operate! I still have the plate taken out from my surgery and I'm sure we can find some screws. The clavicle is rather close to the surface and not too many critical structures nearby. Especially if you don't need to use your arm anymore. No problem.

Seriously, heal fast Steve. If you need any help with projects in progress just give me a holler.

Good idea, ramjet! Eric and I have hands-on experience getting screws out manually, as long as we leave the ends sticking out through the skin :thumb
Don't worry, Steve. You're in good hands.

BBQ at my place is still on. I'd certainly appreciate help getting stuff set up and cleaned up - being the one-armed-bandit that I am at present. It'll be fun! See you all on the 11th.

Chime in and let me know who's coming - so I can plan food and such.

How does everyone feel about BYOB?

Eric and I will be there. Want us to bring a cooler with ice in it for everyone's beer? We certainly don't mind bringing our own beverages. You're BBQ'ing, right? Should we bring a side dish or something? I can help pre- and post-BBQ. Whatever you need!

    Thanks Tami!

There's a big fridge for drinks, and I'll handle all the food. I'll have meat and something veggie / vegan / gluten-free for those of that persuasion. If you're otherwise food picky, bring something - the grill will be hot. I'll also have plates, flatware, all that good stuff. Just bring beverages and your bad selves.

If a few of you are available to come help around 5pm, that'll be awesome.

I'll be there to help around 5pm too. Looking forward to the evening and glad to lend a hand or two.

    +2

I am In - and I can arrive at or before 5pm. I will bring at least a 12 pack of beer and perhaps some selections from the Beer Revolution. Depends on what I can fit on da KTM.

I have ordered some BBQ sauces from Kansas City sooo.....if you confirm you will have chicken, beef or ribs...I will be happy to marinade and help on the grill.

GATES sauces on the way (Hot, Medium, and Extra Spicy)

Well, how can I resist that? I'll plan to have some ribs, among other things.

Exactly! My wife, Kate makes a mean BBQ sauce too - as well as homemade ketchup, pickles, and other goodies. I'll definitely bring some of those along.

    Hey Steve.

Sounds like fun but I will be in Las Vegas attempting to retire. Have a great time. Can't wait to hear who won the BBQ sauce throw-down.

    Be safe all.
