We met those guys coming from Vladivostok on a rainy day near AkTash on 29 July. We've just picked up our Ukok permits.

    Nice RR, especially the movie.

Yes, I'm thinking about it every year. This kind of traveling is too much for most of people. It's really hard. It's both nervous and physical exhaustion. And you loose motivation very fast. I'm actually surprised that we did it.

Amir broke his leg in the end of a long day. He had to ride 60km of dirt road to a hospital. And there his bike trip finished. It will be in the report later.

I don't think that using a copper wire was a good idea. That was the guy we met on a river. And we gave him our brake pads because each of us had at least 3 spare sets. That's amazing how fast brake pads could be finished in dirt.

    Thanks,
An Pate mentioned I couldn't shoot my own falls. But there wasn't many.
Its funny, but 950 was often more stable at water crossings than smaller bikes. Low center of gravity and Scotts stabilizer helped it. I sometimes managed to lean on water stream.

We drove really fast sometimes and every time I saw the group pull over I thought 'No, please!' Luckily we didn't have falls on high speeds.
