Thanks a lot. I've got some pics on the way but I'll let you know.

Do you want the hooks with or without holes for pad locks?

I put one of the hooks on my 2011 Versys tonight. It took less than 5 minutes. I had to remove the washer to fit the bar. I really like it. You had a good idea about drilling for a lock. My hooks didn't have the hole, but I'll take care of that. I'll probably get a couple more for the rest of my bikes. I posted these photos on the Versys forum and a local forum I'm on. I'll put pics up on the TU250 forum when I install the other one on that bike. Good job!

    Installed on the bike.

I like this set up, with the bike locked, it might be a little more difficult for someone to dump a coke in your helmet. :eek1

First, thanks for posting and that's awesome.

Second, cool shop/stuff in the shop :)

When you posted in the other forums, did you tell them where they could
    get the helmet?

Could you post the links where you posted so I can check it out?

    Again, thanks :)

    First, thanks for the pics.

Second, thanks for posting it :)

I looked up your bike earlier 'cause I didn't know what
it was and it was very cool :)

Tell me, with that helmet, you don't get lost do you?
I posted a discussion here on ADV a few months ago asking
for advice on whether to get a hi viz jacket or regular and it
started a discussion about hi viz helmets and such.

Yep, I DO like your bike and again, thanks.

I know that cagers don't SEE motorcycles, but I want to afford them every opportunity.

For those who are going or have friends that are going to the eastern and western V-strom rallies, They'll be giving away my hooks as door prizes.

I received my order in a very timely manner and in a package that survived the USPS.

A quick spin of an Allen key and the hook was on the '08 R12GS. It is one of the most useful addition to the bike.

Thank you for developing this as I will be less likely to drop my helmet.

Thanks Rob. Yeah, it's hard as hell to mount isn't it? :)

I love those bubble bags. Much stronger than anything I've found locally.

Hey, could we see some pics of your bike? Don't have any beamers in the stable yet.

    Thanks for ordering :)

Rob, I don't know the first thing about beamers and someone asked me today if they will fit on a GSA. I asked him to send me pictures but then I thought, maybe you have an idea if they will or not.

    Thanks

I've got mine installed on my Tiger 800 XC with Barkbuster's fitted. The unit fit right over the Barkbuster spacer as they are both 7/8". The challenge for me was to keep the helmet hook in place. You can see in the first photo, I used a gromet I had laying around - this helped, but I'm in search of a piece of 3/4 - 7/8 ID hose that I can cut to fit the space and give the helmet hook a little resistance.

In the 2nd and 3rd photo - here it is "stowed" and "deployed". I've drilled a hole for the lock and need to go get one.

Are you saying that you can't tighten it enough? If so, can you take a couple of pics of your hand guard and ends WITHOUT the hook and also measure the part that's to the RIGHT of the grommet.

Maybe we can figure something out.

By the way, is your setup (handguards n' stuff) standard? Ie, stock?

Hey, ttime4four can you put the helmet hook ALL the way to the right so it's right up against the rubber grip?

Just ran out to the garage and put it between the bar end and the grip on my 800GS. Fits nicely there. Will take new pics and post them tomorrow and delete the pics above.
