Sweet. That means I'm smarter than I look which is good 'cause I look stupid as hell :)

Let me know if you have more questions and most of this stuff will be up on the site in a month or so. Just waiting for pricing on the new lights (not the flashlights) from China.

    Flashlight update.

I will also offer a bike mount for the flashlight which will work with handlebars and engine guards and the mount itself spins 360 degrees so you can point it where you want. Nice quality and you can put it on and take it off without any tools.

Got the hooks in the mail. Super quick turn around on the order. The hooks look nice and as soon as I get them mounted on the bikes I'll share some photos. Looks like a piece of cake to mount just need to find a spare ten minutes to get them on.

    Thanks.

    :)

Use a powered screw driver and it won't even be ten minutes.

The thread on the bolt holding my bar weights had a long thread made for masochists....still hurts me thinking about it. :D

Long time lurker, first time poster. I'm interested in the helmet hook but I've got an alternative idea for attaching it to my VFR1200.

Can you (or anyone for that matter) provide dimensions of the hook? I'm basically looking for the outer diameter of the of the round portion and the overall length.

Ok, outside diameter of the round part is 1.75" and the total length is 3.625"

Also, before someone else chimes in, this WILL be the new diameter. I'm having more
made and made the new diameter 1/4" smaller (radius). The original hook was (and the few I have left)
    2" diameter.

The reason I haven't bumped the thread in a long time is that I was out of stock since my original manufacturer
stopped making them and I had to go out and find someone else to make them and rather than push a product
I may or may not be able to deliver, I decided to just leave the thread/s (other forums too) alone.

Let me know if that helps and welcome to ADV :)

We updated the hook some time ago so that it could be used with a simple padlock (which I also sell).

    See this post

Of course, nothing's secure but some people like it as it keeps people from just taking your helmet really quick when walking by.

By the way, can you recommend some good motorcycle forums (and magazines) in Germany where I can show my helmet hook?

    Thanks
