Okay, we relent. Splitting the rotax GS twins to their own forum.

"GSpot" could change to "GS Flat Twins", "GS Boxers", or "GS Shaft Driven" or something of the likes. GSpot staying named GSpot doesn't make much sense anymore since technically they're all "GS's": the boxers, the parallel twins, and the singles.

The new forum spoken of could be "GS Parallel Twins" or "GS F-Twins".

The BMW GS Singles would stay in "Thumpers".

    That's my vote!:D

GSpot is an original forum here so nothing is going to change with that. :nah

I'm betting this is April, fools :)

barring that, there ar many GS's, they are all BMW's, no gaurantee the F8 will continue to have a Rotax engine, and rotax isn't very snappy anyway. Hmm....

"unstopable F's" or perhaps "occasionally stopable F's".

    Any traction here?

Just because it's been around since the beginning doesn't mean it's name can't change to something more logical and fitting for the times. Search your feelings. You know it to be true. :D

In the spirit of this not being an April Fool's, how about:

    Parallel Universe

There are no other parallel twin adventure bikes that I can think of off hand. At least none that we can get in the US.

I'm diggin' that. Would we have to let TDM's in? Or Scramblers?
EDIT: shit, or Versys' and the new Tenere?

Ding ding ding ding! We have a winner! :clap :clap :clap :clap

Except there shouldn't be apostrophe after GS. It's not a possessive.

Sorry, sorry! I was an English major!

    F'n GSs

    That's the ticket!

Ditto on Parallel Universe... I like it! :clap But if it is for the BMWs then it needs to have GS in the title somehow like GSpot as there are other bikes with the Rotax other than BMW or other parallel twins like what if found in Beasts.

Thinking of words with F and GS... in it... one word lept out, but it's reserved for Harley Riders with straight pipes... not so good.

Perhaps "GSpot Lite - same great performance but less filling" ?
