Wife has a tan rubi, so I notice others.
Funny, sorry we didn't bump into each other.
Yeah, and I should have asked around to find out who was riding the S10 . . . and the Versys for that matter, and introduced myself. Bad form on my part.
No clue on the other transient riders, I rode down solo. Oh well, maybe next time!
Been back and forth between here and DC the last month or so. Mostly there. Sooooooooooooooo glad to be home and away from the insanity of that sinkhole of ideas!
Saw an S10 at Rock Cafe on Sunday. Was that you?
Added another report to my ride thread:

Watching Endurocross...........who wants to go/ plan a trip to Denver race?
what are you watching that on? I wish Guthrie was still on the schedule.
When is it rdj, Riding or driving :huh
I was watching a DVD "The Foundation" . Covers Endurocross and riders. Had a segment on Okla. too!! (DVD was "on sale" at Yamaha shop!!)
Denver race is Oct 12th!! Ride or drive???????????
Prefer ride!!!,, but Denver ,in Oct??? :eek1
Had a great time at the Slap rally. We just returned by way of the Waffle House (WH) in Fort Smith and just ahead of the Tornados.
Peter discovered the promptness and good food of WH today.
We rode the Beautiful trail (I think that is what they called it) and had a blast yesterday. It was a little technical with the recent rain and all. It was just tuff enough to make you think a bit and easy enough for the first time rider who was with us.
Food at the rally was superb, actually it was better than superb. Kegs of beer too. Who said nerds don't know how to throw a party.
OneMoreTime was there, he couldn't believe I rode a DRZ from OKC. After a few hours of 800 mph cross winds today I realized he was the smart one who drove. We drove home on 9 and then up the west side of Shawnee just an hour or so before the tornado.
Guthrie is on my list for September 5 & 6. Mumford and Sons, Alabama Shakes., a bottle of wine and Misses Airdale.
You guys cut that one a little close, didn't you! Tension was definately
high around here. Glad you had a good time....Any pics?
Hey Mars, you ride a DRZ?? I've been on the fence about getting one of those or a DR650, especially after keeping up with Romanouski's RR to South America. He says it is entirely habitable as a road bike if you don't expect it to go like an R, for example, and give it some breathing room once in a while :). Would like to speak with you about it, or possibly pop out there and get a look-see if you don't mind, thanks, or even meet and grab your dinner or something.
Hope you guys are all safe, just watched a tornado on the news again.
OK. riders, they are predicting tomorrow could be as bad or worse for potential of the same type of storms, so if you have a bugout plan, better get it ready. My wife is not liking the idea of bugging out with the van and all our critical items while I ride it out in the cellar in order to be around to deal with the aftermath, and at the moment it doesn't sound like the greatest idea, but I hate to get away and then not be able to get back in if the worst happens, anyone dealing with this quandary after seeing Moore? I know several people who are stuck in Purcell, or trying to get to Moore but can't, etc...at wit's end.
