Daughter on her 1984 PW50: bike was originally bought for a kid with brain cancer; she's now in her thirties and happily passed the bike back when our daughter was 4; now she rides a 125, but will keep the PW "forever".

Love to hear a bit more about it - Was it destined for failure from day 1 or did the locals kill it before it even got off the ground :ear Shame Hesketh went west also, as it seemed like a good product (pricey).

The rear suspensiojn on this one seems odd.

CD7 on 11- 13 June at Connondale Qld is a great place to view old dirt bikes. I hope to have my PE250Z rebuilt by June so I can do a few laps of the Vinduro loop that weekend.

Thanks Hunter but less of the old please, feels like yesterday I wheeled it out of the shop, goes much much better now than then too.
Grandad's old hammer for anyone that cares, a few new handles, several new faces, but used daily, hurt me last week, 6 days off the road to fit bits.
I will scan some pix in odd places, travelled the world, I bought it as state of the art sportsbike, before adventure riding was different.
Had the odd adventure, it will outlive me, prise it from my cold dead fingers.
