Anything in particular to be wary of with an aircooled Beta Alp? Not sure of the year. Thinking of it as a second bike.

Rides well, the model is a bit loud compared to newer standards.

The engine is a Mr Jekyll and Mr Hide model, the motor has a big flywheel so you can putter around old stylish very easy.

Too the motor gets furious if throttle hits more then half gas to climb big steps or just to flip the bike if you give too much throttle at once.

The end of the pipe should be isolated because it can get super hot there and can burn the paint of the frame, rear shock spring and thw plastic of the gas tank.

    Parts are a problem.

Thanks PS, yours looks very nice. I think the parts issue is a deal killer for me.

I mf you are looking up for a trouble free Aircooled monoshock there is none available as all.of them have a part issue. You get better parts for twinshock then for monoshock bikes.

So you might stick with your choice ...

As good get "the other bikes" done before starting with a new projekt other wise you are just collecting "junk".

Took me some years and unfinished projects ro realize that to myself...
