Agreed on that gold-my dad had a 350 in gold that seemed monstrous when I sat on it way back when!
Blue is the fastest tho.....
I was just play'in ... it's a beautiful bike.
Yes, and I knew you were funning, thanks for weighing in MK.
outstanding ,as time goes by OEM looks best....are you missing the splash guard from the disk?
Really nice job, I'm a firm believer in dust being great rust protection.
Yes, I am missing the dust guard...actually, I didn't know it originally had one until you pointed it out.
Some photos of my old rides:
Neat old bikes, one and all. None really usable as dual sports or adventure bikes, but with the notorious unreliability, one always has an adventure in riding them, as one doesn't know for sure he will get home!
Devoid of Trouble for you?
1986 KLR 600
1981 Honda CM400 Custom
Is that you, Yoda?
Stunning! Amazing job there! The 4-1 really makes that bike look more sportier than it did when it was 4-4. That simple mod really is in line with what Honda could've done, so I commend you for your devotion to honoring an original design.
Honda did do a 4 into one in 1978 and called it a SuperSport.
Good Job on the 600!!:eek1
Thanks! I didn't do it though. :) it was like that when I bought it.
I did rebuild the engine though. It blew up because the previous owner had it rebuilt terribly.
Its now bored out 40 over.
To be totally honest, that picture makes it look quite a bit better than it looks.
New to me is this 1968 R/60, it was not running. A few parts and fresh fluids she started on the third kick!
It looks like a nice one.
Nice looking /2
I couldn't help myself, it was just cleaned.....
