    hey. ;-)
You been in Texas since then? Where in Texas are you? (Now I'm here in the editor, I don't know if it's there in your location information.)

The DT400's were nice. I didn't think much of them at the time, I thought the RT1 and RT2 were good, but looking at it now, I could do with one for commuting and ...I'd turn it into an SM ;-)

If only Honda would have brought the AT to the U.S... It would have been a happy family.

    Nice UJM collection!
Seeing these bikes really takes me back.:super
That 550 four is the bomb!
I remember riding home this kid's bike just like that one from high school. He was kind of a wuss and he low speed dumped in the parking lot (not a scratch) and was too shook up to ride home! :lol3 So I volunteered to ride it to his house. I couldn't get over how smooth it was compared to my CB 450 twin.

I'd love to have one of those orange CB550Fs.

Kinda rare, especially with the factory pipe.

Hi cat, sorry for the slow reply, I just moved from Round Rock, TX to the Woodlands (30mi N of Houston). I don't have to travel anymore for my job, so maybe I can get some ADVmiles going....

Here's my "old school" machine. It's a sweet running bike, very nimble with an elegant and comfortable ride to it. It's a 71 Ambassador.

This is my 1973 B50MX. Just finished a spring service and took a short ride down the block. I'm trying to decide if I want to sell it.

Bob Fever, I've got a '92 R100R. Great bike, eh?

How's yours' sound with that exhaust set-up. I'm thinking my needs a bit more sound.

she says it is cool in a "who cares what you think" way

great bike - is that a factory color?

when I finish up my three, yes three, airheads a Guzzi is next

it would help if Chopper came back from his walkabout, but he'll be back before I finish my projects so it is a wash

    rockt,
Sounds great. A bunch lighter than the stock. Sounds real good without the diffuser disks and end cap but the wife frowned at that. Whats funny is the thing seems to run smoother with the S-trapp than stock exhaust. It used shake/vibrate harder between 2500-3000 rpm. Maybe its just me.

Yeah, mine's not the smoothest boxer out there. Downright tingly at certain revs. Maybe a more soulful exhaust is the answer. If nothing else it might take my mind off the vibes. I was thinking of eliminating the collector box and replacing with a Y-pipe as a starting point.

I recently went to friends open house, As you will see he has been a collector for some time. I have posted a few pics from his place before.
Dale is somewhat motoeccentric so, all of his bikes but one have been altered, for the better, I think. There are also some very correct restorations that belong to other people.

Went to a meeting of the german Boxer Forum last weekend.

There was also this 33 year old Hercules which used to belong to the german army.
