Early morning. 7 a.m. To check out this nice double track I found that I believe is legal, and certainly won't bother anyone or the environment, but to be on the safe side, I'm keeping it stealth. And I will have PBA cards to hand out. Here's what I'm talking about:

I have one victim already lined up, and he knows who he is.

Am going to have to keep the groups small, so you will have to e-mail me for confirmation numbers at docgonzo@mac.com

The start will allow for parking of pick-ups if your bike likes to ride in the back of one.

    Will do.

I'd suggest light, and I'd suggest aggressive dual sport tires, but I'll be bringing the 950 SE, and any bike can actually do the ride if you don't mind it getting dirty.

    Stealth run indeed!

If the US Air Force was as stealth as you, we would have injured more enemy soldiers with the debris falling out of the sky from the shot-down F117s than from bombs :lol3

Give Doc a break, he can keep a secret.:eek1 He also never forgets anything, like the gloves he won at the Durty Dabbers. What can you say, Doc is about as stealth an elephant.

If I told you, I'd have to kill you!

If any of you are interested, e-mail me (docgonzo@mac.com) and I will send you instructions for finding the start.

The ride is going to be like having sex with a superstar. Quality, not quantity. About 100 miles, which will include the above two track, as well as some nice dirt roads, a powerline, and a secret abandoned coach road along a stream.

More photos to follow, as soon as .Mac comes back on line.

Remember, this is early....7 a.m. on Sunday. That means fueled and ready to ride. We must complete part of the stealth ride before the local gendarmes get done with their breakfast donuts!

Frank, you HAVE to see how the big bike came out with the Auxiliary gas tank. Check out:

Looks like I'll be bringing it instead of the baby KTM. Someone will have to spot me over the railroad tracks!

Well, with the 1.4 extra gallons, I think I will be able to get 170 miles. But since my butt usually needs a break after 100 anyway, I don't think it will be an issue. There are gas stations on the way down to West Virginia, right?

Don't tell me I'm getting kicked out of another riding group!

ahh a 100 miles is a little out of my range... I will just go to the pines.. but I still want to do that hill climb and show you some other powerline stuff around there in the next couple of weeks..

Toecutter and I are talking about our trip to West Virginia next week. The ride on Sunday morning requires no range at all. The total ride will be under 100 miles, but we will be within two blocks of a convenience store and gas station throughout the entire ride. You can bring a small bike. Just bring a siphon hose if you are worrying about running out of gas. There will be a bunch of "tankers" on the ride.

But again, e-mail me if you are interested.
