I have a box that came back for a new mounting plate. Beefed up mounting plate, painted black, ready to go.
$110 including shipping in USA. Only has 1 key. Regular price, with shipping, paypal and box is $139.

Also have standard aluminum boxes made up and ready to ship, $139, delivered.

Now have mounts adapted to the Zega pannier frame too.

I have boxes ready to ship for the next week, then I'm shutting down for December to go ride someplace warm. Boxes will be shipping again after the first of the year.

Thanks for all those who have bought, or looked at the toolboxes. I'm gratified by your response.

Product looks good Dave, and rightly priced............too bad I don't own/ride a Beemer. I think you are on to something. Many KLR/Vstrom folks buy/build a round tool tube and secure it to their rear racks. Much unused space remains in the "hole" where the tool tube resides. An "oblong/rectangular/weird-shaped" flat sided tool box might be a welcome addition where more space could be utilized?? Maybe something for you to check into after the Holidays??? Seems you have had a very positive response here already.........why not expand your product (maybe even to "custom" shapes)?? :clap

If it hasn't broken off yet, better remove that mud guard, it'll conflict with the box on the first big speed bump (topes)

This thread needs a few updates....some changes in the toolboxes.
They are fabricated and welded by a shop that has high tech equipment and professional welders, so they are more consistent and nicer than my old handmade riveted ones. They are a bit larger and will not adapt to the Zega cases. They're $199 and have a better mounting setup than the riveted boxes.

The welded onboard toolbox for the GS/A with OEM panniers now has a full width aluminum hinge.

Good number of toolboxes now in stock @ $199.00

Any chance this box will fit a SW Mototech rack for a 2009 Moto Guzzi Stelvio ? Nice looking box.

Doubt it would fit. It's made to fit on the R1200GS/A with the OEM panniers, which makes the mounting possible. Angle of the box fits in the frame, with cutouts on the back to clear swing arm, so it's built for that one bike.
