This is a great thread, thanks OP for getting this travel necessity addressed!

For me, I lucked into having a destination already associated with a band, perhaps some other people may fall into this same category and find this useful. My buddy told me about websites like setlist.com, setlist.fm and others like them that post the songs played at a concert venue for a certain time and place. Does your route or destination have a particular venue associated with it?

For me, I am headed to a destination where Metallica played a concert for 500ish people . . . wait, what? Yep, ~250 local residents and 250ish winners of a trip from Molson beer to play a concert in Tuktoyatuk, Canada on Memorial Day 1995. Tuktoyatuk is sure to be come a destination special to adventure motorcyclists (like Ushuaia is now), so let it be known that the soundtrack can be found here: https://www.setlist.fm/setlist/meta...ach-party-tuktoyaktuk-nt-canada-5bd6dbe8.html

And here is Harvester of Sorrow played in front of more than 500 people

    Rock on!

Maybe less on the road, and more inspiration to get on the road:

No problemo. I might be working my way up that direction too this summer and this thread has me thinking I really need some helmet audio.

A little bit in the same vein as the last one. Check out the rest of the CD, too. Its probably my favorite album that I bought in the last year.

    I envy you guys...

I never get a theme song.
I get ear worms. Some completely random song pops into my head and stays there. Can you imagine 600 miles with Weird Al Yankovik in your head. :jump

I think some of this results from my performing days when I'd drive along repeating a song in my head intentionally so I could memorize the lyrics.
