Thanks! Good to see a kiwi on here!
Hey, got the note you left on my bike outside Dixon the other day. I'll be helping with set-up at the visibility day and probably hanging out for a little while in the afternoon when I'm done with class. I wanna take a look at that Transalp you've got!
Hey I just discovered this RR and it's awesome. I'm loving the Space Gravy story. I did the exact damn thing in Amsterdam with Spice Cake aka Space Cake!
Semper Fi Marine. Outstanding RR! Thank you for the tag along with your photo descriptions and experiences.

Saw your bike but missed you! And Ulysses, though apparently he came by and may be somewhere in the library now.

Still catching up. Just amazing. Since I came late to the party and didn't get to make a Paypal donation I will make a donation to the next really great RR in Bryce's name and post here.
Thanks for this amazing RR, really enjoying it.
Over? This isn't over! You get back here mister. I'm not ready for this to be over. Damn
Got a PM from Ed Zactamundo last night and went over for a visit this evening in Portland. The last time I saw him was in the hospital in El Salvador.
Here he is today:
It was great to see Justin. He's still on crutches and has had several surgeries to repair the damage to his pelvis and knee. But dayum, he's one tough mofo.
It was really good to see him. I got to hang out in the garage while his roomates were working on their bikes.
The best evening I've had in Portland yet.
Anyway, just a quick update to let you know that Justin is doing well and looks great. I always like to know the rest of the story, and thought you might too.
Thanks for the update John!
So glad to hear this!
Where is the Bryce now ?
He is hanging out in our home town in eastern Oregon waiting for law school to start. I currently have el Señor and am shipping the motor off to get rebuilt after it finally gave up the ghost. Bryce actually was in Florida for a little while before he decided that wasn't for him and so he bought another xr650l rode it to New Mexico (I think) where he crashed and bent the the subframe pretty good. It didn't stop him from riding it all the back home where he is now in the process of fixing it up.
I may ride a little fast and someday it may catch up and bite me in the ass but maybe not if I give it just a little more gas.
I actually may be moving to Portland in the next few months. Hit me up via PM!
Saw this in front of the local cycle shop the other day. Got to meet Alvincullumyork (Ulyses' brother), who has it now. I feel like this XR is a celebrity in and of itself! BTW - alvincullumyork is a great guy, just like I imagine his brother is.
