I got it seating on the shelf if you need it now, just give me replacement when you get it.
Very kind of you, but I'm not going to have much time for riding at the moment, and my bike is due for a couple other major services as well. . . . so the clutch will probably not be the thing that holds me up. I still need to take the plates out and measure them to see if they're really worn out, or if it's the springs fault. I remember measuring them once before, and they were barely worn at all, but that was a couple years back.
Shipping was quick. Mine got here today.
I abused the hell out of it this weekend and its still working great. Singletracking it in Prescott Arizona at the dual sport event. Huge Rocky climbs and tight twisty rutted singletrack. I'm pleased with it so far.

Any update regarding your Outlaw Clutch kit over the past couple of months ?

Just got back from a road trip to California over the Thanksgiving holidays. Clutch is still performing fine. Wheelies on command and not feeling any slipping. I'll check the plates and such in a couple months to see if there is any wear.

I installed mine before a 10+ day trip in Mexico with a total mileage of over 2000 miles. Lots of full days of technical riding slipping the clutch to tame the mighty 950 on slippery slopes. Worked just fine
I was wondering if you could update us on what kind of mileage you put on the clutch kit and how it's holding up.
I figured I'd try one of these kits out and see how it goes.
I just received it and I do see the inner friction disk that goes around the belleville spring, but the rest of the disks look the same.
Did folks that have installed these find a different friction disk for the outermost position that rides against the pressure plate?
I only had one friction disk that was different.
I installed the kit as it is and it is working just fine.
Still working fine? I need to install a set on a friend's bike.
What kind of mileage did you put on it?

I have nearly 50,000 miles on my 990 but not sure what my mileage was when I installed it. I'll need to look at my maintenance book and let you know the miles.

I tossed the kit in my bike then went out on a 10 day 3,500 mile trip. Mostly street. No problems. I noticed the EBC springs are a bit stiffer then stock, but not that noticeable.

I just did another 330 miles this weekend. A lot of those were some aggressive duck walking rutted single tracking that really wore me out. Clutch is still working great!
Just read through this and it seems the Outlaw clutch kit works fine.
My 950SM clutch (~50,000 miles) needs replacing and I was thinking of picking up a shelf replacement for the SE (~38,000 miles) as well.
The SM is not listed but looking at the parts microfiche it looks like the 950A/S, SM, and SE all use the same clutch components. Is this correct?
And- is there any online guidance for doing the clutch replacement?
