    Strodes Basin. I live prolly 15 minutes from there. Its been cold and icy these last few days so my Chicken Meter is pegged. I,ll get there b3fore January 1st dammit!

    just got a new 1090r.. my brother and I are riding down to Reno in June 2018 we are looking for some adventure riding coming back north? we will be basting dowm 395 to Reno we are open to anything coming back.. whats a good route?

    Have you made it down south to Three Forks yet? That's where i'd head if in this area. You can cross at warm springs and head SW towards McDermit. Would make a nice big loop.

    Yes you can. Pay close attention to the river level. We've crossed there few times. One crossing looked great at first but nearly ended in disaster/swimming. Water started out hub deep and turned into nearly seat deep with a strong current. I got pushed downstream nearly 100ft below my intended target exit. There is a big deep pool just below the crossing. One trip down there we found a 4wd pickup that had been winched onto the bank and left. It showed signs of total submersion.
