Oysters for lunch

    It's been hecka hot here in the East Bay (norcal). 100+ degrees. I heard it was cool out on the coast, and I've been wanting to get used to my new GPS unit...so, I took a long lunch break.

    Lucas Valley out to Nicasio Res; N toward Petaluma and down Marshall Petaluma Road to Tomales Bay. Start out in 84 degrees in Lafayette; ended up having lunch in 64 degrees at the Marshall oyster joint.

    Add:...was every GS in Marin County out on Hwy 1 this morning? Must seen 15 of 'em...

    These were grill-roasted, with bits of bacon and a dash of Worcestershire. Garlic sourdough to sop the juice. Mmmm...
