I'd be interested in having a look at a temarcables light.

There description says adr compliant beam but it also then says the beam is a spot or flood.
That style of led and reflector setup would be very hard to acheive a proper low beam pattern from.
Is there a low beam cut off?

I bought a 4x6 led light in to test for a project and it uses a projector for low beam and refelctor facing leds for high.

It was prety impressive but not suitable for what i wanted.

I did think someone who doesnt mind a bit of fabrication work could fairly easily make it fit a stock dr650 headlight hole.

Just be warned there are a lot of shit falsely advertised led headlights and led bulbs out there so its normally a good idea to avoid the "too good to be true" priced ones.

Improvise. Touratech map pocket velcroed on. Interesting to see how it holds up in use.

Thanks Dan. My 11.5yo greyhound is gravely ill this morning and I'm expecting the worst news today. Unfortunately the vet doesn't know what's caused it and has had to run a number of expensive tests and I have to pay for them somehow so the DR has to go. I've also put my BMW R1150RT up for sale again so that I can send her to a specialist in Melbourne. I still have the TTR and a couple of project bikes so I won't be bikeless.

Hello DR brains trust. Picking up a new to me DR shortly and am after the best priced lowering mounts for footpegs.
After down and back really but the ones I've been able to find are in the realm of $150+, is there a less expensive option?

    Hi Gents,

    What's a good 50/50 tyre?
A mate is using the D605 and he is happy enough. The price on them is good.

10,000 is pretty good. They do look to be about twice the cost of D605 though.

E07s, with 20+kg luggage on all sorts of roads, but mostly shit: taken off at 16,000km and could have gone 1-2,000 more. Sensational tyre but will feel a bit strange at first.

My jury is still out on my latest new style / design EO7
the previous one was awesome - and my mate on his DL1000 just got over 20,000km on his E07.

but it seems like the pattern has changed slightly on my new one and his as well.
he's heading to PI with me so we will see, I'm not taking the DR.

it might be ok, but perhaps a bit softer
this is at about 2500 to 3000km
still has plenty of life but the old one's centre strip wasn't shaped like this and didn't wear like this.
I'm guessing it was a fraction harder and this one is maybe a fraction softer.
    dunno..

    edit.
i knew i wrote about it somewhere with pics - #147964

Will have to see what I can get the E-07 for....
My buddy that works at a stealership doesn't have Mitas but can get the staff price + fitting on D605 tyres.
