Well, theres a thread for KLR, Transalp, Orange, Dr 650 etc. There's plenty of us with them in Oz so the threads alive. Shows us your bike, your name, farkles, dreams. We'll build links into VStrom gatherings etc. Mick

    Count me in

K8 Vee with MRA Vario screen, Madstadd bracket, Givi crash bars. Looking at adding either a PCIII or a TRE to smooth it out. Bike is my daily communter and distance hauler.

Need an updated pic with the crash bars.

    cheers

Got mine about 10 days ago off ADV loftybob (SA). 2008, 12 weeks old 2505kms when she greeted me off the truck.

Took some advice from magazines and a few Strommers such as Giddy Goanna, Romper Stomper ,Dastrom and due to the exposed oiler filter, oil cooler and pipes

spent some $ on protection. Got Crashbars, Radguard and B&B bashplate.

Spent most of yesterday putting it together.

need some intel on handguards, touratech/barkbusters etc. and am looking at H&B pannier frames. It came with ventura rack and bag. I've got Andystraps on the DR so its portable. What other luggage options have you got. i'll need a decent 20litre or so tankbag and i think I'll be done.

Intention to do a lap of OZ next year. Mick

Great looking Wee there Mick. How did you find fitting the bash plate? Thinking of investing in one of those myself. Also, what was the cost for the bash plate and rad guard if you don't mind me asking?

    cheers

Mine goes out in the rain and dirt from time to time.

at other times it plays with it's friends.

or stops to consider whether bash plates are really worth the investment.
