Mike, Thanks for all the help.

Updated PCQ from Hume Lake, to Fish Camp (actually Wawona).

Limit on file size restricts me to just post updates. Full file is on GPSXchange.com

Had to delete some stuff to get it under 2 Meg.

    Edited 4/19

Went back and added some great single Track at Whiskey Falls

Finally got out to finished the section north of Buck Mdws. Nice easy Dual Sport route but there is a ton of Single Track around the North end so need to go back and add a Single Track option.

Next is update into Hwy 50 and Hwy 50 to Hwy 80.

This is how I updated R-Dubb's 2004 trip.

He could only save 2,000 track points for 900 Mi.

I tried to find as much non paved or graded roads as possible and of course recorded many more track points for much better resolution. I have almost 20,000 points but had to filter to fit Adv limits.

I agree and have a pitcher of whatever Jerry wants if he is in the Sacramento area. This work is beneficial to so many of us!

Countdown, you've put a tremendous amount of work into this. Truly impressive.

The PCQ is definitely on my short list.

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

Wife and I just rode the section from rt 50 outside south Tahoe. Sweet route!!
A few sections were challenging for my wife on her fully loaded xt225, but it was otherwise a great ride!

Wanted to let y'all know that the rail trail tunnel section in Donner pass was gated.

Luckily, the old rt 40(?) slab through the pass doesn't suck! Just little more twisties to ride!

We skipped a little trail and rode some nice slab up to lassen np and then Shasta.
Hope to get back on the trail some more...
Unfortunately, I just left some of my shin on some Mt Shasta pumice, and am waiting for stiches...

We are well into Oregon now, having ridden at least 75% of the route between Tahoe, and just outside of Bend.
The PCQ through Northern Cali is fantastic ridding!!
Even the sections of slab in there are some of the nicest, made-for-motorcycle twisties I've ridden, for the most part. Smooth, single lane twistes, with zero traffic!
Lots of great camping opportunities, fantastic views, and sweet trails!
Southern Oregon is pretty sweet too, and we rode a bunch of very nice trail, which is essentially the Oregon country discovery route 3.
We're going to continue up the PCQ, with a stopover in Portland, and then back on the trail up into Washington. We've got three weeks to make it to Vancouver and across the TCAT to we're going to continue up the PCQ, with a stopover in Portland, and then back on the trail up into Washington. We've got three weeks to make it to Vancouver and across the British Columbia to Banff, or so.
I hope to be posting a actual ride report once we get home! Can't deal with pictures On here from this phone!!!

That is very strange question, no it does not take two people to push bike up any hills. I did all alone recording GPS tracks including many "wish I hadn't gone this hard way alone" but I do carry a Sat phone.

I found this thread while looking for a WA to ID to OR back to WA loop. WIDOW if ya will... Now that I have read this and see how much hard work has already been done by Countdown, One more pitcher of what ever you like from me, I am thinking about doing this ride instead. Anyone thinking about a 2016 ride? I live north of Seattle so would want to go south then turn around and ride back toward the land of good coffee and great micro-beer. I ride solo but find it more interesting with small group. My wife and I rode two up on our Harley Ultra last summer through central and western WA and OR.. um ah yeah..even some gravel roads linking very poor paved single lane roads and we both loved it. No or almost no traffic other than a guy in a new Camaro, debating never going back home to his soon to be ex-wife. Interesting man to say the least. I found myself looking at every gravel FS road we crossed thinking about coming back with the KTM 500 EXC. Good to hear that Northern CA is as nice as I had hoped. I guess its time to dust off my Basecamp knowledge and try and download the tracks off the exchange. I see I have to post a route to download. Newbe at that for sure so any help is welcome.
