Perfect day in the Palouse.
Thanks for posting your pictures. We have kind of let this thread get inactive. Mtseeker and I did a ride through the Blues yesterday but didn't take any pictures.
my bikes think they are no longer wanted... too many around the house projects and work (four letter word) demands too the point we are selling Janet's XT as it has sat since the end of last winter...
Plus your profile pic is a guy riding a snowmobile so...

You know if you sell it you will wish you hadn't in another year when things slow down.
she sold the XT tonight... I think she needs a VanVan or a TW... but we are pretty busy so bikes are taking second place... now if I could talk her into selling all of the drag racing stuff (that we have not used going on three years) we could fund that motorcycle trip in Europe
me many years ago hillclimb racing when I still thought I was bullet proof and 6 weeks post operative back surgery
darn magnetic trees
done that more times than I can count
The first is Palouse Falls State Park.
The second is the old schoolhouse off Lyons Ferry road.
Is it easy to get to that uphill side of Palouse Falls? Been to the falls many times but always just went into the state park where you're looking back across at The Falls.
Mtseeker and I rode up on Craig Mountain today to check out the damage from the fires this summer.
The falls are to the left just off camera. You're looking downstream from the falls. The parking lot is behind me.
Believe me, there's no way I'm going to hike those cliffs wearing twenty pounds of Kevlar prophylactic.
Got it but your pic is still throwing me as it sure looks like the water is running off a cliff (ie-the falls) in the upper portion of the shot.
Threw me off too, at first. Then I thought, it's looking downstream, not upstream.
Here's the full panorama of the Falls. Sorry about the light quality. Great riding day, but the sunlight was harsh.
On youtube there are vids of some crazy youngsters going over the falls in a kayak..
Also F-18's use that canyon as a practice ride..I seen-em....
