Rick & I had the Road Kings out a few hours recently. I enjoy the different type of bike and ride, but I'm looking forward to the twisty stuff on the GSA!

Hope you guys have a safe trip. Right time of the year for sure.

Sorry you guys missed the Turkey Trot. We had a great time with about 50 riders and we were short on street bikes with only 5.

Again, safe ride and post up some picks,.

Sorry I am not joining you, but I can't complain about my solo run up there.

Again, ride safe. I saw 2 crashes on my trip.
    One needed a life flight.

The other not quite as bad.
    He left in a car.

    Hey All,
We all returned safely. It was nice to throw down some serious miles over such a short time. Funny how I always forget what throwing the GSA around in the twisties for a few days feels like. The 500 mile slab ride home Sunday (5th) was uneventful. However, the weather was at 32-36 degrees leaving out the first few hours. But overall, good riding weather. On Friday the 4th, after riding 100 miles of rain, we called it a day and went to "Wheels through Time" in Maggie Valley. So, let's recap, good weather (mostly), good riding, and good food. Yep, nuff said!

I played Moto McGyver, with the aid of the crew, as my new fuel pump (warranty replacement/recall) started to leak fuel from an o-ring installed by the BMW Technician. So, Friday evening, after 3 separate trips to auto parts stores, and looking like a trip to the dealer Saturday morning, we found a fuel approved o-ring that worked from O'Reilly's. So, note to self!

I was in the FWB Harley shop buying shims for KTM when some one announced that "John Doe" just bought a new Harley. Lots of cheers from multitude is sales persons and then they all fired up a bike and the place was full of revving horn blowing motorcycles. Awesome welcome to Harley mystique.

Good luck on you new adventure. Sounds like fun.

After returning from a 13 day trip out west I decided to make a bike change.

    Back to the Future!

    Change is good!

    Hey All,
Here's our next "longer than a day" ride. We will leave on the 23rd of Sept on a two day ride towards Asheville, do twisty day rides Friday and Saturday, and slab directly home on Sunday.

So, get your shit together and plan for it!

    r//Chuck

I'm in PC now. Any non-tourist, hole in the wall seafood places we should try on Sunday for dinner? Next to water is a plus.

For your planning, looks like this year two days back, the long way, or the better two lane road way! So, home Monday evening. I'll post or you'll get route information prior to departure. All previous trips have been outstanding!

You guys have any problems if a Hoosier (guy from Indiana) shows up on a non-BMW (I used to own a BMW) and my wife lives in Florida (does that count)?
