Thought it might be interesting to have a thread for those of us who like to ride single track.

From Alabama to Tallahasee and everything in between!

We used to have a group in the Fort Walton Beach area called Team Mossy Head that thrived by locating and developing multiple places to ride single track.

If you like to ride narrow trails...

If you are looking for someone to ride with....

If you know of a place that we could cut some trail......

If you know about a good place to ride....

If you enjoy going 12 mph on tight trails (as much as or) more than 60 mph on a dirt road..

    Jump right in!

It's got my name all over it. :D
May I suggest we keep exact area info in pm's lest the goon buggies, I mean 4 wheelers, get wind of choice locations, hack and widen the trail, litter with beers cans et al.

    Yes I will.

As much as I wanted t provide a forum for single track rider, I also understand how vital it is to manage the flow of information so it goes to riders who respect how rare it is becoming to find any.

BZ, lets turn those old fire breaks into new single track!

We have our little piece of heaven over here. Its about 12 miles of knarley whooped-out tight stuff.

There are two closed areas that we occasionally sneak into. Robin, TreeMan, FBM, Forest an maybe salad have been to them which is near Holt (where we had SweatFest last summer).

There is Avalon which is near Milton. It has been around forever and you never know if it's closed or not.

West Florida MX near Mossy Head has a two mile ATV trail that is great for anyone who wants to practice their skills. I spoke with the owner there last Saturday and told him we could maybe get him on the SERA hare scramble circuit if we could lay out another eight or so miles of single track and he said ok.

We used to have a wonderful area in Argyle (just east of Defuniak Springs) that was gas line. It was shut down years ago but probably could be redeveloped.

OK guys, without being too descriptive as to welcome four wheelers to come along, what do you have?

Kennys in Bretwon, how could I forget?

One of the things we've tossed around was finding some hunting land to lease. If anyone knows someone who has hunting land to lease......:deal
