I finally got my 90 GSPD finished after painting. I got some decals made up after much searching and I am pleased with the results. These are as close to original as I could get. I can get some more made up if anyone is interested. I can also do custom colors ... Black and teal, Bumblebee, etc. PM for more details.

Looks great. I'd consider getting some for an imminent purchase GSPD to replace the 92 decals.

But what I really want is the speckled job....

Very nice. I'd be interested in the same as yours, red/white 90 GS/PD.

The price is $70 US plus shipping for the entire PD kit which is much less than half even if you could buy the kit from BMW. The kit is pre cut and is on very high quality (re expensive:eek1) 3M Vinyl. I have a couple of PM's from airheads wanting bumblebee colors so I am going ahead and make a bumblebee set up for preview.

If someone gets a set made, and if they could run some extra "Trim" strips, I'd take some of those!!!!! I'm talking about the strips on the side covers, and across the lid on the gas tank. All other decals are fine on mine.
Any Info. I would appreciate!!!! Thanks! :thumb

How about this for an idea. I will look into doing a pinstripe roll long enough to to replace the tank sides, toolbox lid and side panels. The pinstripe seems to get ruined first. Before I got the repaint the pinstripes on my side panels were worn off years ago from standing on the pegs. I will let you know soon.

    very nice!

are the decals oversized in length? did you have to cujt-off and shape the ends to follow the lines of the tank? I'm referring to the red "Paris" decal.

if possible, can you also post a photo of the bike's other side? thanks.

They are oversized. There is 5 extra inches total to play with on the "paris" ones. Since it follows the contour of the tank it is very easy to get the pattern. I used a grease pencil to mark out the cut and then used an x-acto knife to make the cut. Here is a close up of the left side. I also have very high res pictures availiable for reference.

related question: if i were to have my bike painted, would you apply the decals after the paintjob (after clearcoating), or would you apply the clearcoat after sticking the decals?
