We are trailering our bikes down from Montana and are looking for a place to park at the North end of the COBDR. We are starting at Section 6 and riding backwards. Any suggestions?

The north end of the COBDR is in the middle of nowhere. You might check out leaving your rig somewhere in Rawlins then ride the CDR down to WY70. That section is a fast run on pavement and good gravel. You can even take in Aspen Alley at the south end.

I would hesitate to leave anything in Rawlins. Aspen Alley is nice, color should be good this weekend. Was just starting to turn last Sunday. I always send riders from my house over Black Mountain, up Slater to Hwy 70, then over to the BDR, 10 mile detour to Aspen alley
