    Hi there,

In april I'm planning to start the second half of my world trip with a good old postie bike (already done Australia -> Belgium a few years ago.) this time I'm gonna start from New zealand and head to belgium. 1st step is Santiago de Chile. But I'm hesitating to go to the very south of south america. How the weather conditions are gonna be south of santiago around April ??? Cause I presume it's very depending of the altitude etc etc... where is the furthest point you can actually reach ? April is already too late ???
    Thanks for your help.

Many ride reports here that will answer all your questions. Winter in SA has already stared in April. Also Google is your friend for local weather conditions. Ride safe.

My opinion is that it will be too late.

I am currently on a ride towards Ushuaia. We were told to get in and out by the end of February so that’s our goal. Should be in Peru this week.
