    Good luck! Sweet looking bike.

In 98, after only 10 hours total of motorcycle experience, I sent my KLR650 (which was totally not adapted for rallying) in Granada in order to participate in the Atlas Rallye in Morroco. I had several crashes a day, loosing half the bike in the desert, getting towed by a camel to start the kickless bike and winning the trophy for perseverance and I also became the first Canadian ever to participate in an African Rally Race.

    Nice :)

All I can say is "wow"! I saw The Hour interview and was impressed. Nice job. I will certainly be typing in your number when I am looking through the race stats. :clap

If you don't mind me asking, how much money and time goes into that level of modification (excluding the price of the bike)?

Well it is not exactly right. I do have big sponsor. Because I am a professional motorcycle guide. So I work 4 months in Morroco. Plus I do event for Honda (Junior Red Rider, ect) so I am not exactly rich, the opposite actually.
I am missing 10k now!! I am working full time to get as much money as possible.
The POWERHOUSE HONDA dealer will help me a lot and this summer that rally bike will be in the showroom of those powerhouse.
in the mean time you can meet me at the next TORONTO SHOW, where I am still looking into a sponsor or 2...
So yes without sponsor it is impossible, for me anyway.
