    Same story, few more pictures.

Pretty good turnout for a inaugural Event on a cold December Day.

After grouping up, we worked our way over to Vernonia via dirt, but took a number of stops. Some planned, some...not so much.

Our team included a bitchen Beull with the WRONG tires. Fortunately the rider did great keeping it mostly upright.

    More breaks

Turned into a nice day in spots

Lots of stories and laughs as well

Eric, one of our "guides" muscled the KLR through a lot for an offseason ride, and it began to show :D

The braver ones even found some singletrack fun

Thanks guys, was a helluva lot fun hanging with you in the woods.

Thank you all for coming out to SFRC's first ever crosscountry/enduro/etc event!

Sounds like you all had as much fun as we did getting lost on the mud and fog.

Congrats to the winning teams and all who attended, and we hope some of you can make it out to see Austin Vince this Thursday at the Clinton Street Theater!

After trailering my bike over an hour there, met up with a couple familiar faces from this ADV forum, got the bike ready & listened to Patrick give the rides outlines.

    Many old...er bikes,
    [IMG]

    & newer ones. Scott's WR 250.

    MZ/Yammy 660.

As the owner of this '76/500 proved later, he new how to wheelie this. We had also seen this bike at the recent Salem flat track races.

    Nice Triumph 800.

The owner of this 2002 XR 650 explained about all the plastic painting, powder coating & farkels that he'd added to this beauty.

    Takin a breather.

Lined up at the finish line & pub in Vernonia. First team in, we were rewarded with pretty quick food service & a trophy. Great food!!

Another shot of the Buell 1200 Ulysses. Excellent to see.

A good turn out all & all, thanks to Patrick & the crew for setting this up & spreading the word, a fun ride, hope to make it again next year. :thumb

That would be the team known as the PDX Dirtbags. We have a subreddit over at reddit.com. We clocked around 65 miles minus 9 on the pavement. They gave us a sweet ass trophy.
