Didn't catch this thread in time, but saw all them beautiful bikes outside Widmer on the way home. Thought to myself: I bet that's and ADV meet up. Was in the cage, with the wife, so just rolled on home. Next time!!

You should have stopped anyway. One guy (don't worry Al, I won''t say who) even showed up towing his bike on a trailer.

That's a great idea, would really help on the flat-spotting of adventure bike tires! What an awesome setup he's got there! That trailer would looks like it would stop a roadside bomb in its tracks!

Thanks everyone for showing up @ Widmer yesterday. Thanks for the great Pic's Ken! I fogot my camera and was sure hoping someone would bring one.

I'm done with work a bit early today and now get to pick up my KTM 950 from it's first service at Boss Offroad.

Tomorrow is a long awaited appt with Mr. EdsMoto (www.mredsmoto.com) in Albany for that sweet custom seat Don is going to make for our KTM950.

Too bad we ran out of time for me to give a tour. Maybe one of these weekends we can all meet up a bit earlier in the afternoon so I can show people our fantastic brewery!

When is the next meet up?

One suggestion is my favorite beer bar in Portland, The Concordia Ale House on NE 33rd and NE Killingsworth.

Unrivaled beer selection and great food.

This Thursday and Friday both look dry and sunny too.

Another great place with a huge deck for those sunny days is Produce Row Cafe @ 204 S. E. Oak

    Anyone interested?:freaky

Don't pay the ransom, I've escaped!

Sorry for not getting back to you guys sooner. Unfortunately, due to personal reasons I've had to cancel my trip south next week. Actually, the suggestion that "maybe I could buy" was more than my heart could take LOL:D .

I will keep an eye on this forum throughout the summer months and maybe I can hook up with you guys in July or August.

Sorry to hear you can't make it down to Portland next week. Keep in touch for the next time you are able to get down here.

Sure - I'd be in for that.

As an aside - if anyone can tell me how to edit the subject line (to get rid of the date and maybe maintain this as a general meet-up :slurp thread), I'd buy 'em a beer at the next one. :evil

You might try asking in the "Ask Baldy, Blame John" forum, but I don't think the subject line can be changed.

    (Don't worry, I don't expect a beer for that one.) :D

I've been puzzeled by how to change the Post Tiles for a while.

I've been wanting to start a PDX thread for PDX rides, contacts, meet up's, and general shout outs.

Should we start a new thread...."Portland riders sign in here" (or something like that) or get the web master to change the thread title?

I watched those DS riders in Bend have their "sign in and ride post" on Thumpertalk.com for quite a while, and now they have their own site @ www.benddualsport.com.
