I’ll go the smug route. At the end of the day, I’d gladly pay for the ease of transfer, but the shitbucket won’t see a thin dime of my money

That may be your best route. I don't use SmugMug so I just suggested a way to get the pics to your pc. I use Imgur now and it works great. But no loot for PB. They won't be around much longer as far as I can see. :nono

The fact that you drink beer from a can still keeps at least one foot in KLR territory for sure!

Actually, the cans are from the diet Pepsi I mix with my whiskey that comes in a glass bottle (unless I buy a cheaper brand). All of the beer we drink over here comes in bottles. :photog

Has blu-ray paved the way to making older tvs obsolete??

Trying to find a bluray player for my folks since they no longer sell releases on standard dvd, but none of them come with RCA outputs. Started looking into the cheapo HDMI -> RCA converters, then read about this thing called High-bandwidth Digital Content Protection which causes the bluray player to send a signal to the tv, and if it doesn't send the right secret handshake back, it doesn't play.

It may no longer be available but a Sony BDP-S380 has what you're after, RCA outputs: Yellow, White, Red; and HDMI.

Yep. I think Hatch has a touch of KLRista as well, because my first thought after figuring out that it’ll be a pain in the ass to get them into a blue ray player would have been to add a smart TV to the cart and keep on going about my life.

After all, it gets annoying with all the switching from VHF to UHF then spinning the dials to get Ch 44 on Sundays to watch Creature Feature with Dr. Paul Bearer

Hey. I saw a Kit Kat commercial where a black girl is talking on a wall mounted PAY PHONE. Is there still such a thing. I don't recall seeing one in years.

The last one I saw was in New Mexico at a very rural convenience store.

This one was on Hwy 20 back in 2011, I was riding with Stephen and we stopped for gas. Now they're both missing.
