The tag is posted. Maybe its time for one of you guys to come take it away from the valley. I won't stop you. I might bring it back. But I won't stop you. I just wanted to keep it it east until the snow started to fly.

So should I go back and delete my last tag? Spin a bottle and drive 100 miles in that direction adn drop it off? Not sure how that falls into the rules. That would be an interesting rule.
The tag must move a minimum distance of 50, 75, 100 miles before reposting. That would keep the tag fresh. Or a new Tag O Rama. The PA Hot Potato Tag O Rama. Treat the tag likes its bad. Pick it up and get it as far away from home as possible. People don't go looking for it. They try to keep it out of there neck of the woods.

I think the 72 hour rule would be in effect...If it doesn't move by then it's yours again. This time of year large movements of the tag are going to be more difficult. The tag spent last winter out in the Pittsburgh area IIRC.

I think a tag can sit for ever. 72 hours is how long you have to post it. I just reread the rules. A 50 mile rule might keep the game from getting lame. And keep idiots like me from hoggin tags.

#7 The tag must be posted at least 50 miles from its previous location

It does have a nice ring to it. Who makes these changes? The person who started the game? What do you guys think?

OK! Ok! I'll go get the tag. Give me a couple of hours to ride down, tag, it and get home to post it. My bronchitus is almost gone anyway, and I need some fresh air.

If you look close at the picture you will see an orange sign behind the bike. Taped to the sign will be surprise. Hide it at the next place you drop the tag. Add to it if you want to. You will understand when you find it.

When I got to Wilkes-barre this morning my CRS brain couldn't remember exactly where you took you the pic. Went back after posting from the McD's to look for the orange sign: [IMG]

Hoping for a beer chip from the Grotto, but there was nothing there. [IMG]

Weather man is calling for crap tomorrow, better head out today for the new tag.

I went back for it. I figured you missed it. I will post it if I ever get a tag again. It is a dog tag I had made at the local pet shop on a key ring. Its says ADV PA TagORama on it. I figured it could get passed around and have added keychains added to it as it got around. It was a dumb idea had at night while drinking. The NorthVirgina TOR leave gifts for the next guy who comes. I thought it would be cool.

I like the idea. A combined Tag and Scavenger Hunt! If someone misses it, someone else will be along later to pick it up. If they add something to it, fine, still OK if not.

I also hope that the NEPA and Pitt area people don't see my commentary on hogging the tags as petty whining. Everything I write here is intended to be fun and in good nature. No harm intended.

When I DO finally get the change to snag a tag, then drop a new one, I intend to make it challenging. I have a couple of places in mind that are unique, should be challenging, and won't be some random stretch of woodland.

I know I'll get my turn. ....Someday. ...Maybe. :tough

Ding! Crap, I know exactly where that is and my weekend is committed. No riding.

Could do it at night but I'm a pussy. (I only sleep 5-6 hours a night but don't like riding in the cold)
