    Here are some more clues
This place opened 1887. At its peak, the plant employed more than 3,500 ethnically diverse workers.
Oh - it also rates a Pa historical marker.

Should be #1 on your Google search now!

Why is it not surprising that this tag is about 4 miles from the poster's home?

p.s., this is the only thing I could come up with:

Let me know when the tag moves more then 10 miles East of Pittsburgh.

Where is the game moderator! Invoke the no whining rule!!! LOL

I figured it out with one search not long after it was posted. My other responsibilities prevent me from grabbing it.

The tag is 45 miles east of Pittsburgh - quit whining and come get it - or shut up and continue going after your NY and NJ tags - you have plenty of them near you.

Either a PPG or Elger Plumbing factory in Ford City, from what I can find on Google.
But as Mark O says, :topes if you gotta go thru this much googling to find it.
Is tagging about riding or googling???

I found it easy enough, but 10 hours of riding in 32 degree weather is not my cup of tea.:vardy I'm content to let the western taggers play until it warms up:evil

I took the same search approach with my Knightriders tag. The only difference was that you needed to search YouTube for "Knightrider filming locations". The FIRST hit you get was the tag. From there it was a Google search for the address and directions. Stop whining and come get the PPG tag! :cry. Stop whining about the so called "local" knowledge for tags. The tags have bounced back and forth across the state pretty well. A lot of interesting history and info has been shared and learned. Remember all your whining the next time you tag an interesting knothole in a tree in the middle of nowhere!

    New Tag:

Picture shows a plaque erected by the Daughters of the American Revolution commemorating a battle in which a small group of soldiers from the Armstrong Expedition were outnumbered and defeated by American Indians. The area is named after the items of bedding they left behind when they fled.

Clue has been field tested and location can be identified without local knowledge :D
