Not too bad. Since changing jobs I don't seem to have time to chase tags anymore.

Nice drop. The weather is warming up for a few days. We will have to wait and see about the rain.

I rode to work today. The roads are washed off pretty well from the rain. The 17F was a bit chilly but 46F on the way home was nice. No time to grab the tag but someone should go get it tomorrow. Its going to be beautiful!!

Voltmeter on the bike indicated a charging issue while I was still in Bethlehem Saturday. Battery got me to West Norriton, where I was able to buy another, install it, and make it the rest of the way home. Looks like the R/R fried itself, so it'll be a few days till I'm back in action. Sorry, not taking the bike out till the issue is solved, so if someone wants to get get the bruce and move the tag, please do. If not, I'll drop a new tag when I can.

There was a RR recall on my '14. What year is your Strom?

It's a '13. The R/R in this case is a Compu-fire series regulator I used to replace the stock unit, when the stator fried a few years a go. I gotta determine if I'm going the same direction, since the are some other options now.

If I follow the gist of this, you now have a series regulator, but that does not preclude a fried stator. Next test is for continuity to ground through the stator legs.

Snow moving in tonight, the tag is safe.

Already did that. The stator ohms out good. Decided to start the fuel filter mod since I had the tank off and all the parts on hand. Got working on the external filter portion, and ran out of time to test stator output.
