Well Phil finally decided that perhaps the BMW tear down was a bit to much so he took the bike to BMW in Pcola. I don't know the particulars but overall Phil was pleased with the work and the people. They talked to him with respect and acted like they were glad to have his business. That goes a long long way.

Of course the price was outrageous but no more than anyone else - we checked around...

So we may ride over there Saturday and see what's up...

I'm glad to hear Phil was treated right. After viewing that YouTube video of replacing the clutch/hydraulic seal stuff, I don't blame him for not wanting to tackle it.
Hope to get a RT when I retire and have time to travel more. All the other Sport Touring bikes are just too dang heavy for me.

I have visited the BMW shop in Pensacola a few times...never had any work done there or bought a bike from them but I have test driven several of their bikes and talked with them...they are always very friendly, helpful, and if I was looking for a BMW or a Guzzi, I wouldn't hesitate to make them my first stop when shopping.

I am still debating between a C5 Corvette and an older 67-72 C10 for a hot rod. Its just a matter of time..:evil

I am having similar trouble...trying to decide between a 87-92 Camaro and a 95-96 Chevy/GMC truck for my next project. Biggest problem is finding anything that isn't rusted out, worn out, trashed, etc for what I would consider a reasonable price.

This looks like another good spot to buy... cheaper than I got mine...

And jerseys to match for 35 is also a bargain ...

Does anyone know where I can get a wrecked motorcycle? My squadron likes to display wrecked cars and motorcycles to remind everyone to be safe on the roads during summer and holidays. The latest request was a motorcycle for summer.

    Thanks for any help.

Looks like the heat is scarring everyone off.

Several folks were talking about Sunday morning somewhere?

Phil and I may take a beast ride in the morning and end up at the BMW place for visit.
