After several days tied up at work, finally went for a ride today.

First out was the mighty DR350. Did about 15 miles, mostly dirt roads. Put the DR up and fired up the FJR1300. Made a 25 mile local loop on the silver bullet.

Got back home and could hardly get the helmet off for the smile. :D

If I could only keep one, it would be the DR......for now, I guess I'll keep 'em both....just gotta' get my welding buddy to help me rig a way to carry the DR on the back of the camper. :clap

Selling for $2350. New owner *may* have to look into some clutch repair or adjustment on down the line, but for the way I drive it (hardly at all and gently) it needs nothing and the clutch, to me is fine. Everything on it is super clean and original. It has about 35200 miles.

PM me if interested. It would make a great bike for the upcoming Turkey Trot beast ride.

    Good grief, what a deal!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is MY old bike. Someone will get a smokin' hot deal here. This bike was done by mas335, the acknowledged TransAlp guru (look him up in the Beasts forum).

Wish I had the dough, right now. I'd buy it back!

Pete, fwiw, I'd put it in the main forum for an extra 1K! At this price, it should not last long..

Having owned both, the DL to me is an updated version of the TA. More power, better brakes and suspension. The big thing the TA has over the DL is aesthetics. I can look at the TA all day. When I got off my DL, I never looked back........

Mine is an '03, silver. And yes, sir, it will eat the miles. Mine only has about 23K on it, so it's probably hungry.....

Did a little more dialin' in on the Hussie forks this morning--left from Brox Landing. I guessing they are about 50% better now...added air to the bladders and backed off both compression and rebound. I may wait to R&R seals a little longer, but that will help stiction and small bump compliance a good bit. :clap

Ran up on troops doing some maneuverin', lots of deuce and half/jeep traffic on the red roads, so cut it short with the 'snake trail' and did a detour across to Buck Pond then back to the truck. Mosquitoes were fierce!!

I just might keep these closed chamber forks! :puke1

Vico, I am debating staying in town this weekend. If so I will be riding either/both street and dirt. Just completed 7500 mile service on the Ducati--she's ready to rip.
