Ah, yes. Once again it's Microsoft Update Tuesday, wherein all the Windows machines slow to a crawl while Redmond's latest "oops" are corrected.

Some of us are old enough to remember the 1970's, when were told of a coming time in the near future where computers would speed things up and create a "Paperless Office".

Ha, Ha - Joke's on us!

The fun runs are much easier than dualsport rides there. It gets pretty sloppy after rain. But hi, a girl and a 1 arm bandit rode it in the slop. ;)

    Ya had me at Gumbo:nod

Yes indeed. The truth is, most all of the paperwork that USED to be done is still being done, but there's extra work inputting that info into the computer...net result, ya spend more time and money to get the same result. While it's good news for the folks at International Paper and Dell Computer, it just makes life more difficult for poor schmucks like me who have to keep up with info stored digitally AND on paper.:becca

    Right next to Reynolds Pasture.

Or if you have never heard of the most famous enduro racing area in the Southeast....about 20 miles North of Selma.

I still owned one of each of those until about a year ago. No more slide rule or type writer.

Until Wayne pipes in, this is where I get big stuff:

For small pieces/parts, I check with Rudds welding on 10 mile road to see if they have any drops in the scrap bin.

That's mighty impressive for 50 yds with open sights, and a 90+ year old rifle. I didn't think Mosins were particularly known for their accuracy, either:eyes
Gumbo & Garands, I like the sound of that. :nod

In the early 70's there's a few of us that ran the Gobbler Getter Enduro there, but we didn't know it as "Perry Mountain" then.

We knew it by the city it was in, Maplesville, Alabama.

Yep, SERA calls it "Maplesville" I believe. Perry Mt motorcycle club puts on all the events there. Reynolds Pasture is on the sign you drive under as you enter the field. All the same place. Here is a little history on the Perry Mt club: http://www.perrymountain.com/about.asp

Bduke is our POC at this point and comes down to ride on occasion. And the gentleman that rode with us at Speck Pond street ride a little while back (can't remember his avatar and don't want to use his real name) is from there as well. Everybody I ever met or talked to from the Perry Mt club has been phenomenal.

Thanks Madhouse....I haven't been by to see Charley in a while. I should go by and just say hello. FYI, for those of you that don't know, Charley Rudd of Rudd Welding was once upon a time a pretty darn good Enduro rider himself. Charley is the "Son" part of Rudd and Son Welding Inc. and a great guy.

+1, Bell would definitely be the go to place, they have a minimum but that piece should meet it. Is this for your new trailer?
