Good to hear from you Rick.

Sorry you can't make the Trot.

That reminds me of a story.
Bout 9 years ago, after a very small amount of vino Rick and I were camping at Spec pond and decided since everyone was off Black Friday we should gather a group and TROT across Eglin.
Thus the Turkey Trot was born.

    Next year Rick!!!

Yea verily, Maestro--haven't missed one yet! This has become the premier ADV event in NW FL, and it's the one I look forward to the most. IIRC, there were maybe 10 riders on the first one--I went thru my pics and I believe this one is from the first Turkey Trot...that green KLX300 is the bike I had the infamous LOG incident on. Ow, my back!:waysad

And the beauty of it is, it doesn't matter if 10 riders or 100 riders show up--it's always a blast! Between the riding and the firepit stories/hijinks, it's the most fun ya can have with yer clothes on:happay

While y'all were enjoying yourselves at PM, it was only 78 here on Sunday so that warranted a quick spin through Blkwtr....

Before i get a dozen answers. A buddy really wants a 2018 300 two stroke fuel injected. A store told him he could put a deposit down and they'd have it in a couple weeks. What resources can i direct him to in order to get it tagged and street titled or who is willing to chat with him?

For reasonable ease, figure a minimum of 36" wide for each bike at the handlebar end, so 6 feet is a comfortable minimum. You can stagger them, but it's a tough deal to tie them down with heavier bikes.

You can also load them "69 Style", but still tough on big bikes.

Open style utility trailers (no sides/roof) are much easier to load, and 5 feet is fine because the bar ends can stick a few inches over the sides and access for front tie downs is simple.
