    Hi,

my wife and I will be in Phoenix/Surprise Nov 9-18 with rental cage.

I searched but cannot find thread with day trip thru Wickenburg to Prescott with pics and restaurant in Prescott. Anybody know that thread? Is that trip
all paved or some dirt? Mighty Corolla rental needs to come back in one piece :)

Any suggestions on day trips, thing to do/see, restaurants etc are greatly appreciated.
We are also trying to rent for the month of Feb to try out the snowbird scene. Getting out of Minne-snowta for a month sounds like heaven.

    Thanks for any suggestions!!!

For a all paved route take highway 89 from Wickenburg to Prescott. No pics but trust me it is superb. You will also go through Yarnell, the site of the tragic fire where we lost 19 of our finest hero's.

For Breakfast the restaurant at Lynx lake is good and for dinner try Lefty's at Dewey.

I agree highway 89 towards Prescott is a great drive, not too much traffic.
Breakfast @ Ike's in Wickenburg or if your not hungry yet you can drive another 30 minutes to the Ranch House in Yarnell.

Hi, if we went Surprise to Wickenburg, Prescott, and Dewey --what's the most scenic after that, 69 or 169 back toward Phoenix?
    Thanks

I'm getting hungry thinking about these places!
    Thanks

Take the 260 to Payson and then the 87 back to Phoenix. It has everything from high desert to pine forests.
