I'm curious what quality apps you may be using to plot or record your rides. I've used Scenic which is alright. Thinking about trying EatSleepRide. Wonder what else is out there?

I may be a dinosaur, but I still prefer paper maps. I recalculate my position at each fuel stop. The phone only comes out when I need to locate a specific address - or to find out where in the heck I am, if the former fails. Which has been known to happen a time or two. :D

I tossed all my maps of previous rides in a life purge. I have a feeling I'll regret that decision in years to come.

I've heard of Rain Alarm. Is it accurate? Spending summers in the PNW it would be nice to know I'm going to get wet on my ride.

I like it. Only weakness for me is that he cannot predict what direction you will take. Used it yesterday and drove between two big storm systems. I find it useful.

We went to Netflix last night and watched part of the first season of The Ranch, where-in Sam Elliot's character attempts to make sense out of cell phones, cell phone apps, men wearing Ugg's and other sundry matters of modern society. Sometimes I thought I was looking in a mirror. :lol2

I use Glympse. Very cool app for telling your loved ones where you're at.

I like Speedometer when I'm not using cell data. Functions as just what it says, speedometer, trip log, time, etc .
