these are all over Cali:
This one's kind of cool.
I'm envious riding without a windshield doesn't bother you. Bikes looks much better without em, IMO.
I was out riding yesterday (60 degrees in Wisconsin in March...oh YEA!!) and blew past a sign I wish I could have taken a photo of. Traffic and no shoulder prevented a stop. It was your standard deer crossing sign (in WI that means a silhouette of a leaping deer), to which some clown had added a large red dot on the end of the deer's nose! Who knew Rudolph frequented southwestern WI?
Here are three that Mrs. Radical and I found as funny when traveling in Ireland last year.
1st pic was in front of a huge bay. So it's not like the water wasn't obvious. However, it was across the street from a pub, go figure. So maybe the patrons needed warning.
2nd and 3rd were about 1/4 mile apart, which in combination is what made us laugh.
New River Gorge:
Hey! I saw that sign last summer...was laughing in my helmet.
And you're right, i wanted to take a pic.
Yep, there are some funny signs in England too. When I was stationed there back in the early 80s there were signs here and there that said "LARGE PLANT CROSSING". I always kept my eye out for a huge ficus crossing the road, sort of like Day of the Triffids, but never did see one. I think they were pulling my leg.
Might that be from highway 25 south of Hollister? not far from my sign
Yup Yup! I zoomed by at about 70mph and it took me going around the corner up the road(you can barely see the 30mph sign in the distance) before I realized what it said. Had to go back for the pic.
Beemerville Road, Northern IL, gravel, a few miles W. of I39 and S. of I88 on a hill covered with wind turbines.
This one needs explanation. It means open range. Which means NO rules....no speed limit, no nothing.
Near Manic5, Northern Quebec, Canada
Made me smile
Didn't know what it meant, but it sure looked like fun.
