Well, I got off the chain for a little while yesterday so I took off from Black Canyon city up to Crown King. When I left Black Canyon, I was wishing I hadn't of worn my heavy riding jacket. However, when I reached Crown King, I'm glad I did. It was pretty chilly.
    Here's the route...

Black Canyon City is down in the bottom right and Crown King is about where the dogs nose is at. Speaking of dogs, don't you think my route kinda looks like the outline of a dogs head?

At Crown King, I removed the cover from the air cleaner box so my bike would breathe a little better...

Traffic was non existent to none. From Crown King, I headed up towards the top and took the first left towards Tower Mountain and then down into Horse Thief Lake.

Wishin' I'da brought the fly rod about now.

Up towards the top, I found a fun little trail... I think it was called Jack's trail. EDIT: If you press play, and then pause, wait for the video to load, and then resume play, it seems to run a lot smoother.

A lot of old fire damage up there.

Coming back down, I jumped off at Cleator to take the ride through Black Canyon (according to Mapsource). Others like to call it Turkey Creek. Regardless, it's a fun ride. Sorry, it took me about 4 1/2 minutes to remember to wipe the dust off the lense. I was hoping to get the whole canyon in one take but I ran out of memory evidently with about 5 minutes of road left. Too bad 'cause I made a spectacular splash at the last crossing that got missed!

It was 68 when I left Black Canyon, in the 50's up at Crown King, and in the 90's when I got back to Black Canyon.

Yep. The new suspension is fantastic. No more slammin' on the brakes for little dips anymore. Now I barely slow down. I went up to nearly 7K feet and didn't find any snow. I sure love the ride down through that canyon!
